Abby and her friends!

All smiles!
Goofy!
We had a blast! Of course it is 10:50pm and the girls and boy are still running around the house listening to Abby's new mp3 player, chasing each other on a cake and ice cream high. But you know that it's all good when no one has said anything nasty to each other or made each other cry! Oh to be 7 again when all you had to worry about was where you were going to sleep, upstairs or downstairs! I still can't grasp that Abby is 7. I think about the day she was born and how time has really flown. Then I look in the mirror and remember how old I am getting and how Abby is living proof that time keeps going! Well, hopefully we will get some sleep tonight! I better get of the computer and see if anyone wants to go to bed yet! Wishful thinking!

Here we are decorating mini pumpkins.

Abby turns 7!

Abby is officially 7 years old. We had a few of her friends from school over for a slumber party. To start things off, we painted some "goody" bags with paints.

Abby can read!

I just couldn't help but take a picture of my little girl reading. Look at all the words on that page! I am just in ah at how fast she has really picked up on it. Too bad she has a little of her daddy's genes, she hates to read! Maybe with time that will change. Who knows!

Hittin' a bucket of balls!

One Sunday evening Dave and I decided that it would be fun to go with the kids and hit a bucket of balls. Dave and Phil found Hunter a set of golf clubs just his size, so Hunter looks forward to going with daddy to the range. This time the girls decided to tag along. I have to say that it was alot of fun. The kids are a riot to watch!
(notice Hunter's right hand, heaven forbid he should actually have to "touch" his sister)
It was a little chilly that evening. Once we got warmed up it wasn't too bad.

Hunter's new friends!

Abby seems to have had alot of the attention lately, so I decided that it would be fun to have a few more crabs hanging around the house! Sounds weird and kinda gross, I know. Actually they really aren't that bad. Very low maintence and Hunter loves them. Here he is holding Superman. This is a new addition to the crab family.
This one Hunter has named Racer. He isn't really fast, so we will have to get him into some training of some sort:-) Otherwise he won't be able to live up to his name.
This guy you might remember from Hunter's party! This one Hunter has named Dylan. He is the biggest of the bunch. He had a lot of fun getting to know his new house mates!
The shell to the left is actually another crab. (the claws you see belong to Dylan) He isn't very social. He is the smallest of the bunch and his name is Josh. He is one that was given to Hunter from Grandpa and Grandma on Hunter's birthday.
Here is Superman out on a tour of his new home!

Here are the Bengals folks! They are 5 rough and tough 1st grade girls that will dominate whenever they play! Starting from the left, we have Grace, Kirin, Emma, Riley and Abby.

...getting a few pointers from the coach.

Go Bengals! I didn't have any pictures of any game playing action! I'll get back to you all on that one!

1st Day of School!

Can you believe this! Abby is now a 1st grader! This is going to be such a great adventure! Her teacher is Miss Peate and she has 22 kids in her class. Her first day was today and let me tell you, she was sooooooooooooooo excited! So much so, that she practically kicked me out of the classroom today! Dave and I are excited that she has Miss Peate. Dave had her as a 1st grader too, so this is something special that Abby gets to share with her daddy. Miss Peate pulled me aside today and told me that she can remember seeing myself, Dave and Shawna running around on the playground back in the day! She is excited about having our little girl in her class. Abby seemed to enjoy her first day. Being excited for her, I wanted to see her right when she left her classroom at the end of the day, but Oh No, I had to sit in the car and wait for Miss Independent! We are so proud of her! Hunter cried this morning because he wanted to meet Miss Peate and go to school too. After about 10 minutes he realized he had mommy all to himself, and well, all is good!

Welcome!

Here is a site that will allow you to check up on Abby and Hunter's Adventures! They are a busy pair. Together or solo, they are keeping their mommy busy. Enjoy the pics and tidbits of information about these two kiddos! Remember to keep your comments nice and clean because they are far too busy to be messing around with anything that will slow them down! We love you all and have fun checking in on their adventures!
Brace yourselves!
Sincerely,
The Tour Guide :-)
