Have you been wondering....

Have all of you been wondering where in the world have Abby & Hunter been? Well, they have been SO busy that mommy hasn't had alot of time to post anything, but she has decided that she needs to make this more of a priority, so friends and family can keep connected. Keep your eye out, because there is alot to come to get you all caught up. We've had a summer, a few vacations, the start of a new school year, and much more!

Thanks for being patient and I hope that you haven't lost hope on the fun adventures!

See you soon!

Monster Jam!

Hunter & Josh
Opening gifts!

The gift "heard" around the world! Pretty sweet though!

We had a great time. As usual, we had a few friends and family members come celebrate Hunter's big day. He is now 5 and has informed me that I need to take him to preschool now. I only wish that we didn't have to wait until fall!
As always, Kathy (Hunter's great aunt) has to find the most annoying toys to buy for my kids. So as you can see her great idea this year was a set of drums. She thought that Hunter would be annoying on them - when in reality it is Abby. She sits at those things, strikes up a beat and sings her heart out! Did you know that you have to sing alot louder when you are hitting the drums at the same time? You do - at least Abby does! And there is no escaping it! Thanks, Kathy and the Bretz's for making my life all that more interesting! Love ya!

A chalk masterpiece

Now that the weather is sporadically giving us nice days, the kids are outside! Yeah! There is light at the end of the tunnel. Abby started this chalk design that was huge and Hunter decided to help out. The colors were much brighter in real life. I was really impressed! I'm sure there will be more of this as the spring and summer season continues.

Trying to be Cool?

Lincoln Christian School has a really fun school carnival each year. This year we were able to go and we had a really good time. The kids' favorite part was the hair and face painting. Hunter choose a really cool striped mohawk look and Abby had polka dots sprayed in her hair. The butterfly on her cheek was painted on by one of her best friends. Abby thought that was really cool. You can't really see the butterfly because for some reason Abby thought it was "cool" to flash a peace sign in these shots. What can I say - she is 7.

The Jelly Bean Story

We were able to take a day that Abby was off of school and visit Granny and Grandpa in Henderson. Despite the terrible windy conditions - we felt like we were being sucked in by every truck driver - we ended up having a really good time. Here is Abby going through the jelly bean Easter story. If you want to hear it, give Abby a call, she would love to share it with you!

Easter

The kids each got some fun things from Nana & Papa. Here they both are displaying them! I must have been lost in space because these are the only pictures I got of them in their Easter best. Oh well, something is better then nothing!

Valentine's Tea

Abby and some of her classmates!

Singing!

Each 1st grader was asked to invite a friend or family member that had been or is a soldier. We have a friend, Craig, who is pictured here with Abby that was her guest for the tea. Abby was so glad that he was able to take off work to enjoy the program they had worked so hard on.

Here is Kirin and Abby in front of the big American Flag that the 1st graders had made with their own handprints. As you can see, it was enormous! Abby's handprints are some of the hands on the bottom 3 stripes.

The Tea was a huge success. Being a room mom, there was alot that goes into throwing a wonderful party. We had more then enough help and it went flawlessly. God worked in that room, I could feel it. The kids presented the gospel through their songs and enthusiasm. I am so thankful that Abby is able to express so freely her relationship with God at school. What a blessing!
